As mentioned, forgiveness starts with an act that is initiated from within ourselves regardless of the other parties offense. None the less, although a difficult step to take it is needed for us to start to heal and move on. Christ Jesus modeled it for us in Romans 5:8 ““But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
